Akron, Ohio | Cascade Valley Metro Park | Family Photo Session


I’m so excited to share this Akron, Ohio Fall Family session with you today! When the Maurer Family reached out about family photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! This family is one of my absolute favorites! There’s something so special about this family photo sessions. Not only was the day completely perfect, but so were these four. They are fun, beautiful, and full of love and connection to each other.


Cascade Valley Metro Park Family Photo Session


If you've never been to this park, GO! It is a stunning space with gorgeous amenities. However, I didn't need any of that, I could have photographed this family in front of a power plant and they would have turned out just as beautifully! We had so many options for spots that are full of flowers, water, and open areas to take photos at.


Christy and Eric are so in love, and it's clear in their photos. I didn't need to guide them to get closer or look at each other, or kiss, they just did it because it felt natural to who they are, they couldn't help but do it. I'm here for it! When you do what's natural, especially when it comes to connecting with your loved ones, those photos are the best. The boys, Philip and Ethan, enjoyed making poses and wanted the camera lens on them the whole time! It made for super cute "action" shots of them playing.


To the Maurer Family, I love you so much! Your family is wonderful, and I don't know what I'd do without your friendship and the friendships that our boys have made. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together for many years to come!
