Surprise Engagement at Brandywine Falls
The future fiancé's best friend was the one who actually reached out to me to help capture this lovely day. This group was coming in from way out of town to see the falls at the National Park. It was a perfect day, you couldn't have asked for better weather. In fact, everyone thought so, because there was a sign saying that the parking lot was full and to keep driving! However, we didn't believe the sign and found spots anyway!
I hustled down the long flight of stairs to "take photos of the falls" and waited for the couple to arrive. Carlee later said she thought she had seen me eyeing her! I tried to keep to myself, but I didn't want to miss anything either. Finally, Robert saw a clearing on the deck and got down on one knee. It was a spectacular spot and the couple and their friends were filled with joy at the happy occasion! Talking with Robert and Carlee a little afterwards they talked about how just the day before Carlee was asking when they were getting engaged. All along, he knew it was just the next day.
To the future Fairchild family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these joyful, love filled memories for you! You both are so fun and kind, and it was great getting to meet you and be a small part of this new chapter in your life. I can’t wait to see wedding photos!
