Delaware, Ohio | Family Photo Session


I’m so honored to share this Delaware, Ohio Family session with you today! When my best friend since the second grade reached out again about family photos, I knew this was going to be a very important photoshoot. There’s something so special about family sessions, but especially this one. The Klingler family has been going through it with their sweet little man battling a very rare form of leukemia.


Delaware, Ohio Family Photo Session

I had the opportunity to take photos of this special family a couple times before, getting to capture Callen's life through the years already, but this one happening right before his third round of treatment was maybe the most important one. We did our absolute best to get him into taking photos like his big brother, but he was veeery interested in all the airplanes that were flying over head! We definitely tried many things and walked around the sweet path near their home in order to find moments to capture the family.


You'll see some photos of airplanes, lots of action shots, running, throwing, and playing at this session. This family loves physical activity and being outdoors, so it makes sense that the boys wanted to explore and play! We also got shots of them in their Callen shirts!
