I’m so excited to share this Kent, Ohio Newborn Photo session with you today! When the Faubel Family reached out about newborn photos, I just couldn’t wait to capture this new beautiful family of four! There’s something so special about newborn sessions, especially in a home you recently moved in to. Being at home for photos, especially with a new baby, is comfortable, fun, and relaxed.
Kathleen and Jarid now have two beautiful boys that they wanted to have captured while they're both itty bitty! I couldn't wait to capture this amazing family in their beautiful home, and when Kathleen mentioned going out back in their yard, I was so excited by the scenic view. We had a very casual and snuggly session that makes you feel like you're simply walking into their everyday lives. We jumped, we had snacks, we did a lot of silly faces, and even got their two puggles, Maple and Bacon in the shoot!
Ben, their oldest, was READY for photos when I first arrived, he took over the session by storm with poses, faces, and jump stunts! Baby David was all about showing me his sweet baby tongue and was wide awake the whole session! We went with the flow and never pushed for perfection but worked with the boys and how they were feeling. So when Ben needed a break I did some break out photos with mom, dad, and Davie. I also got some smiles from Ben by telling him NOT to smile at me and then being "appalled" when he DID smile at me! I desire for all family members to enjoy the photo taking experience, so I want to be aware of everyone and what they are comfortable with instead of trying to push them and potentially creating a bad experience.
To the Faubel Family, I simply love your family and am thankful for your trust in me to capture these tiny details! I believe that God will continue to bless you all and pray for your family to grow closer together and have many more joy filled memories in the years to come.
